Board Membership Inquiry
The Board of Directors meet on a Quarterly basis and members are required to participate on a committee, and have governance and fiduciary responsibility.
New Board members will be required to sign the Board Contract, Conflict of Interest Statement, Policy Manual and Bylaws Acknowledgment forms. They will be required to attend an Orientation to acquaint themselves with Fortitude Careers.
Board Members will:
Contribute to and attend fundraising activities and events and facilitate donations from others.
Serve as a professional resource to the organization when needed.
Lend their name and influence to the organization when needed and appropriate.
Share the message by serving as a positive ambassador for the organization.
Membership is by invitation only. Members are appointed for a three-year term. Terms are renewable at the discretion of the organization and the member. Members may end their term at any time by notifying the organization in writing.
