The Build Program offers “Life-Mastery” coursework that teaches financial and relationship management, effective communications (with employers, clients, and in their personal lives), and emotional regulation skills. This learning intentionally sets the stage for success with the program and in life.

The ultimate goal of Fortitude is to place participants into employment, with the objective of financial self-sufficiency, and career advancement coupled with increased earnings.

Fortitude provides assistance with exploring options for trade apprenticeships or higher education. Assistance comes in the form of mentoring, tutoring, and equipping participants with information and tools, to be self-directed in completing the necessary steps to meet their educational goals.

Participants receive on-site training in construction skills from qualified instructors, trade journeymen, and educators. The construction curriculum was designed by companies that will employ our program participants.

The curriculum is a fresh look at managing the construction process from beginning to end - complete with an introduction to the technology tools that are on the leading edge of industry best practices.

The program includes construction terminology, course work covering the background of the industry and history of the American Worker, OSHA and safety training, project management and construction math.
