Michael knew that a desk job was NEVER going to be his thing. He saw his dad hate every day of his corporate job and decided that wasn’t going to be him. The school guidance counselor suggested construction - maybe even starting his own company, so Michael needed a place to learn what he needed to get started.

Philippe was pretty much on his own since he was 15. He had worked in the neighborhood grocery store to make it but the idea of doing that his whole life drove him to find what he really liked.

Ashley’s has six siblings and her dad works hard to provide, but college just wasn’t in the cards. Ashley started at the community college but work and life kept getting in the way. She was ready to do something new and construction sounded like a great job!
Dominique
Dom had seen her fair share of trouble by an early age. By 20 she had enough and wanted to find a way to a more stable life. Her case manager encouraged her to look into trade programs to see what kind of career would be right for her.
Julio
In and out of foster care, Julio knew it would be up to him to get started on the right track, before the wrong track threw him off course. His foster dad was a tile contractor, so Julio thought he’d see if a trade career was right for him.
