Build Program Winter 2026
The Fortitude Build Program is a pre-apprenticeship training program that:
Prepares young adults for entry into the construction workforce
Offers life mastery coaching including communication, accountability, financial literacy, and goal setting
Connects participants with industry mentors, employers, and support services
Each 8-week cohort includes:
Daily instruction in construction fundamentals
OSHA-10 safety certification
Fork Lift, Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, Traffic Flagger and Hilti Tools Certifications
Site visits and hands-on projects
Workforce readiness training
The program is designed to serve those who are motivated to build a better future, but who may lack the traditional resources or networks to do so. Fortitude provides a supportive, skills-based training environment that prepares young adults for careers in the construction trades, while also building essential life skills.

The program offers curriculum for Life Skills, Careers Services, Financial Literacy, and Construction Trades Job Readiness.
The program is open to young adults (17-24) with a High School Diploma or GED who are interested in a career in the construction trades.
