Learn why a Career in Construction matters

Fortitude held its Exploring Construction Careers Event last Friday. This Sold-Out event gave the Participants an overview of what it’s like to work in Commercial Construction. The event was held at the Webcor building site in San Mateo. They explored two buildings in progress and observed craftspeople at work. At lunch, a panel from different trades told their stories and answered questions. By the end of the day, the students were given enough information to make an educated decision regarding a career in construction. Most said they were ready to signup! They were offered the option to signup for Fortitude’s Job Readiness program in 2022.
